Facilities include safe open parking, covered/ open braai and a swimming pool. Day hikes on the farm offer spectacular views, and bird lovers will enjoy themselves with a variety of regular Karoo birds as well as a variety of water birds! We have a list of 160 different bird species identified in the Pentad we fall in. 

Guests can cool down and relax around the pool or go on hikes on the farm, it’s perfect for nature lovers and bird watching. For those looking to do some more exploring, one can take a drive to Middelburg which offers an abundance of exciting activities as well as unique cultural experiences.

Visit Nieu-Bethesda and find out more about “Miss Helen”, The owl house, The lion’s den, or simlply just enjoy a drink and something to eat at “The Brewery and Two Goats Deli”. A special daydrive not to be missed is the Valley of Desolation in Graaff-Reinet or simply just enjoy game drives on nearby game reserves, hiking on the farm or a round of golf on the local course in town.
